And then there's the things nobody tells you about being a superhero
"You know. I've read everything in the MI 13 files about Excalibur -- the team, not the...you know. I honestly thought that I knew everything about what could be out there."
Faiza shifted her stance, hand on Excalibur's hilt at her side. She glanced up at the young man who floated above her, cape fluttering in the wind. Americans, she thought for a moment before shaking her head. After all, she recognized him. Mostly from those same files. An Avenger. Justice.
He glanced down and gave her a smile. "It's always kinda startling when you run into your first 'kidnapped and pulled into another world' situation."
"Little bit," she agreed, then paused and looked at the last member of their little crew. "I just...well, nobody ever mentioned anything about..."
"There's a lot out there that nobody mentions," Justice replied. Then paused. "Though. This is a bit more than even I've had to deal with before."
Because that last member of their team? Was an actual MUPPET. And Faiza really wasn't certain what to do with that.
