Excellent, he'd read the situation correctly. Lyle considered sitting on the bed, but no, he was here to help Brainy pick out clothes or something, not to watch.

Well, not just to watch, at least.

Color was...not something Lyle was good at, though. There was a reason his wardrobe consisted entirely of blacks, white, and neutrals, and it wasn't just because whites could be bleached and blacks could be bleached and/or easily re-dyed. Of course, the more pertinent question was what would break the unspoken rules of the little game they were playing here? Lyle had remained silent and invisible thus far, his only noticeable action having been to kick-start things. Would providing further, visible input be against the rules of the game?

Lyle leaned around Brainy, careful not to touch him at this point, and examined the shirt. The cut was certainly flattering, and a light brush of his fingertips (could have been an air current, or Brainy's hand moving very slightly) indicated that it was pleasant to the touch. If Lyle wasn't certain about the color, it's presence in Brainy's closet indicated that at least Brainy liked it on himself. And when it came to ravishing, that was the important part, right?

He reached up and carefully grasped the fabric and tugged it toward Brainy, releasing it quickly enough that, had it not been Brainy who was well-aware of his presence in the room, one could have been forgiven for thinking they'd imagined it.
