first snow queens, and now this.

Emma had gone to sleep in Storybrooke and woke up somewhere else.

First off, waking up in a whole different state with a whole new set of memories was one thing, but the same set, and something's bound to happen. Instantly, panic had shocked her right out of bed, instantly grabbing her keys and her jacket---not even bothering to change out of the yoga pants or tanktop. This wasn't even her house. Just who the heck's house was this? Were we even still in Maine?

Momentarily, she stops in her doorway. What if.

"Henry?"

No answer. If she'd come here of her own volition, Henry would be here. But this was like her apartment---only, you know. Not. It was someone else's.

There's some massive warning bells going off in her head. This was, by all means, impossible. Graham's shoelace was still on her wrist. It had all very much happened. She hadn't gone back in time, this wasn't the Enchanted Forest or Neverland, or---

It's then that someone else walks into the door of the apartment. A complete stranger.

"Hello? Excuse you? Where am I and who are you---" Emma reaches forward, in an effort to stop the intruder---but the intruder continues forward right through her, like she were a ghost.

So not only was she out of Storybrooke, now unable to return, with Henry probably stuck there as well (The fact she didn't know for sure began to wriggle into the back of her mind), she was in all likelyhood, dead as well.

Her red jacket was carelessly thrown on the sidecouch, and picking it up, it also falls right through any other (usually) impervious surface. She scowls. Her and her jacket were ghosts.

"This is....creepy." she mutters, watching the absolute stranger march on through their own apartment, grabbing a cupcake from the fridge, and beginning to snack. Taking her issues outside, she tries to ask someone for help. Any stranger passing by the building. No one replies because everyone passes through her as well. She's invisible, a ghost. For a moment she's sure it's just a nightmare, one of those dreams buried in the back of her mind, built up by the torment of being left at foster home after foster home, the loneliness and solitude she'd committed herself to when she was young. She'd wake up, right?

She'd wake up and there would be her family, her fairy tale family. Her Mom and Dad, coddling baby Neal, and Hook, sloppily making breakfast, and Henry, asking her if she was okay.

But this isn't even Storybrooke, and she's not sure if the real nightmare is that she's not home, but that she may be barred by magic from ever going back to what she had. The realization sets in and she can't help but fight the tears welling up in her eyes. I'm dead. I'm gone. I left. What will Henry think?

"Anyone? Can anyone hear me?"

( Hey, so here's Emma Swan from ABC's Once Upon A Time, fresh out of season 4, but not so much so that she's quite OP. The time period set between Anna and Elsa's departure and the appearance of the Chernabog is where she's been taken from, so still quite in the rocks with Regina and finally settling in with her magic. Also hi! If you haven't met me on Plurk yet, I'm becca! I'm also taking up the reigns for Pitch! My Plurk is takozu, feel free to add me if I haven't already added you and hit up my intro plurk for additional info. C: )
