Everything just got a whole lot weirder, and the more it did, the more she was at ease. This was actually a nightmare. A tear does escape before she can wipe them away stubbornly, not allowing herself to feel scared in front of these apparitions.

"I'm dreaming, you both look like you've walked out of one of Henry's comic books. This is what I get for eating before going to sleep." Or having a liiiiittle too much tequila with the good Captain. That's a whole different story.
