She was lucky she'd gotten off Kephalai with her armor, small plates and light mail, while her legs were mostly free with the long boots and fire monk's sash. The most important items, the round red goggles on her forehead and the gauntlet that helped her focus mana into flame, were also thankfully intact.
Chandra hoped she didn't look as worn as she felt, but doubted that luck could hold out in the firelight.
