There are kids out here in the street, walking towards her. Two boys that look like brothers are rough-housing as they walk, one of them messing up the other's afro with a furious noogie.

A heavyset girl wearing a fluffy purple skirt and combat boots is stomping along next to them, and so is a skinnier girl in a blue t-shirt.

They don't seem to be watching where they're going as they tramp along towards Molly.
