first snow queens, and now this.

Emma had gone to sleep in Storybrooke and woke up somewhere else.

First off, waking up in a whole different state with a whole new set of memories was one thing, but the same set, and something's bound to happen. Instantly, panic had shocked her right out of bed, instantly grabbing her keys and her jacket---not even bothering to change out of the yoga pants or tanktop. This wasn't even her house. Just who the heck's house was this? Were we even still in Maine?

Momentarily, she stops in her doorway. What if.

"Henry?"

No answer. If she'd come here of her own volition, Henry would be here. But this was like her apartment---only, you know. Not. It was someone else's.

There's some massive warning bells going off in her head. This was, by all means, impossible. Graham's shoelace was still on her wrist. It had all very much happened. She hadn't gone back in time, this wasn't the Enchanted Forest or Neverland, or---

It's then that someone else walks into the door of the apartment. A complete stranger.

"Hello? Excuse you? Where am I and who are you---" Emma reaches forward, in an effort to stop the intruder---but the intruder continues forward right through her, like she were a ghost.

So not only was she out of Storybrooke, now unable to return, with Henry probably stuck there as well (The fact she didn't know for sure began to wriggle into the back of her mind), she was in all likelyhood, dead as well.

Her red jacket was carelessly thrown on the sidecouch, and picking it up, it also falls right through any other (usually) impervious surface. She scowls. Her and her jacket were ghosts.

"This is....creepy." she mutters, watching the absolute stranger march on through their own apartment, grabbing a cupcake from the fridge, and beginning to snack. Taking her issues outside, she tries to ask someone for help. Any stranger passing by the building. No one replies because everyone passes through her as well. She's invisible, a ghost. For a moment she's sure it's just a nightmare, one of those dreams buried in the back of her mind, built up by the torment of being left at foster home after foster home, the loneliness and solitude she'd committed herself to when she was young. She'd wake up, right?

She'd wake up and there would be her family, her fairy tale family. Her Mom and Dad, coddling baby Neal, and Hook, sloppily making breakfast, and Henry, asking her if she was okay.

But this isn't even Storybrooke, and she's not sure if the real nightmare is that she's not home, but that she may be barred by magic from ever going back to what she had. The realization sets in and she can't help but fight the tears welling up in her eyes. I'm dead. I'm gone. I left. What will Henry think?

"Anyone? Can anyone hear me?"

( Hey, so here's Emma Swan from ABC's Once Upon A Time, fresh out of season 4, but not so much so that she's quite OP. The time period set between Anna and Elsa's departure and the appearance of the Chernabog is where she's been taken from, so still quite in the rocks with Regina and finally settling in with her magic. Also hi! If you haven't met me on Plurk yet, I'm becca! I'm also taking up the reigns for Pitch! My Plurk is takozu, feel free to add me if I haven't already added you and hit up my intro plurk for additional info. C: )

That he did, even if it was a little fainter than it should be. Looks like Nova and the others were right about his powers being somewhat diminished here, at least for now. One way or the other, they did the job, and he found Luna without too much trouble. Though what she was actually doing stopped him up a minute.

He landed next to her, and glanced down at her for a moment as Luna just stared through the window. It didn't seem like she was going to do anything other than stand there for the moment, so Clark was going to take it on himself to be something other than unnerving. Judging by the tears in Emma's eyes, explaining things was the least he could do.

"We can." Clark says, opening the window and floating inside. Yes, Emma. You're seeing Superman, straight out of the page of a comic book, cape flowing in the breeze and all.

"Sorry about my friend, here." He glances back towards Luna before offering Emma an apologetic smile. "She tends to do things her own way."

"I know this is probably more than a little strange, but we're here to explain things."

"It's not a dream." Luna corrects her approaching the window but remaining outside "Though for some child you might be."

Mysterious and slightly unhelpful, Luna scanned the room slowly before settling on Emma once more.

"I don't think there are any comic books written about me, but apparently there were a number of very popular novels and movies written about my friends and I was a supporting character. I can show you later if you like."

Being self aware and exposed to her own canon materials by Abed had not done much to help Luna's usual spaced out attitudes. Still she had located Emma with surprising speed simply by wandering through the area so she had proved useful up to this point.

"It's a little hard to believe," Clark conceded, "but it isn't a dream."

"I know it's a lot to wrap your head around, but I promise it'll sense soon." Or at least more sense. Sometimes he forgets everyone's life hasn't been as eventful as his.

"There are portals, I don't believe there is time travel involved." Luna offered and then her expression finally changed to one of concern.

"Probably safe. Probably with you, or a version of you." She looked thoughtful and then carried on, "There is a child, or children in this world who felt scared. And they thought about someone that made them feel safe and strong. Someone to protect them from the nightmares that were frightening them. You are someone they thought of. And here you are."

All said as casually as if she was discussing the history of a local business or telling the plot to a novel she had just been reading.

"In a way, it's a little flattering." She added.

Maybe, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a situation everyone's going to readily accept.

"There's more to it, but it might not be best to get into it here." Superman quickly scans the horizon. No sign of company, but that might change. "If you're willing to come with us, we'll take you somewhere safe, give you a more in-depth explanation. Once we're there, we'll make sure you know exactly where your son is, even if I have to go out and find him myself."

"I can't promise that." Luna answered truthfully "But I can promise we'll try. There are many different magical and technological devices we have access to at The Workshop so it stands to reason that one of them should be able to pierce the universes and locate family." After a moment she smiled warmly again.

"Especially as you care so strongly for him. Emotions hold a great deal of power in this world."

Producing a crystal orb from her pocket she turned slightly so her side was facing Emma and spoke to the orb "North Pole please." Once she had politely requested their location she threw the orb in a gentle underhand toss and it burst expanding into a glowing, swirling portal with only a faint amount of suction. There would be no whisking anyone to a far off land against their will with these portals. Assuming that Superman would make sure Emma didn't change her mind Luna started for the portal to show in good faith that it was safe.

Clark glanced over as Luna opened their portal back to the North pole, but he didn't move from Emma's side. Instead he put a hand on her shoulder.

"We'll find him. I promise."
